In San Francisco, the large subway is called BART which goes to oakland and other parts of the bay area. The other inner-city train is MUNI. While waiting for the Bart train, this recording has the pre-recorded stop information for BART and also the messages of Muni on the next floor. I did not clean up this recording because I liked the sound of the wind when the train arrived.

I moved away from the Bay Area a few years ago and this recording gave me the most intense feeling of nostalgia I've experienced since leaving home. Such a nice sound - brings back great memories, thank you!

this is great. i hate the sound of BART so it's perfect to put into a nightmarish recording.
