Recorded April 4, 2025 1130 MDT at Beaver Flats Ponds west of Bragg Creek Alberta. About five pairs of newly returned Canada Geese attempt to establish and protect potential nesting area. 15° C, sunny, low winds.
Recorded with Rode NTG5 supercardoid shotgun microphone in Movo blimp on pole, deadcat wind protection. Recorded on Zoom F3, 96k/32bit mono.
Spectral denoise in Izotope RX10 was used to remove sound of water leaking over nearby beaver dam. Normalization, content cuts, and fades in/out.
