Red Deer Stags roaring during rutting season. Closest stag approximately 20 meters from recording location along Rhiconich River above Loch Inchard. Distant stags were approximately 1-2 kilometres away.
Recorded on Sony M10 with LOM MicroUsi pair, bubblebees, AB stereo, 50 cm separation, 24 bit/96K. The sound of the Rhiconich River was reduced using spectral de-noise in Izotope RX10. Cuts and fades in/out were done in Izotope RX10. The time period of the recording was reduced from 6:51 to 1:46 after cuts to ’silent’ sections.
