I held an old log (about 24" long, 8-12" diameter) above my head, then dropped it onto the ground. Intended to mimic the sound of a person being thrown heavily to the ground.
Ground was a thin/compact mixture of dried leaves, grass, and other debris. Recorded on an iPhone.
