Over the years, whenever I hear an owl outside, I have a habit of trying to record it. This pack is a random collection of these field recordings, some clear some dirty. Almost all barred owls.
This one is a barred owl, recorded March 31, 2025 on an iPhone, in 3 segments because I kept getting impatient and pressing "stop" only to have the cooing and cawing start fresh. Crickets are heard in the foreground.
