Traffic passes on a busy residential spring day. Birds chirp and all is normal. Then way in the background you hear the faint beginning of a siren approaching. A fire truck approaches, and then we hear a second siren in the background--a rescue truck, gaining on the fire engine. Both pass, then, just before they fade out of hearing range, the emergency is averted and they turn off their sirens.
