The sound of the hand-held controller for small electric toy cars. In the shape of a plunger, there is a spring inside and some copper strips that slide along a wire resistor. It is operated using the thumb.
During a "race" the controller was in almost constant motion, except for long straight-a-ways where it was fully depressed.
Recorded using an M-Audio Micro-Track with the stock "T" stereo mic held about 6" above the center of the oval.
