This final sound was meant to represent "The Kitty" being hit hard.
The Kitty is also known as the Jack.
Apparently on that day I remembered the generic name of the small white ball as Kate.
So Kate = Kitty OR Kate = Jack
Though I am sure I have heard "her" called that by players on the field.
