Loud static noise fades out into a robotic sounding microphone hiss. Sounds almost like a futuristic computer bleeping in the background. Creepy sounding. Recorded with Audacity and a cheap microphone plugged into my Acer laptop. For some reason the mic quality is way worse on the laptop than my desktop PC. If you use this sound anywhere, I would be so excited if you left a comment below saying how you used it! I think it could be used in a horror game.

I'm editing for a YouTube Channel where my mom plays video games (She's a Gen X'er). My mom asked if she could say "Animal Crossing" during the video (she was playing a different game) or if that's illegal? So I poorly I'm attempting to make video and audio static in the video because my brother makes jokingly pokes fun at her saying to stop the recording boys. I thought it would be humorous to pretend like there was interference with the footage. Thanks for the audio!! I appreciate it :)

Dude awesome!! That would be a very interesting startup sound :D I'm sorry for the background noise. My mic was actually making that noise even thought it was muted Good luck with editing your audio
