A nightingale sings at Berlin North Harbor joined by the chatter of sparrows and occasional creative calls from an icterine warbler. The dominant industrial sounds from a construction site contrast with the natural bird songs, creating a striking urban soundscape. Ideal for use in films, documentaries, sound design projects, podcasts, or explorations of the tension between nature and city life.
Recorded with a Sony PCM-D100. All my field recordings from summer 2024 in Berlin capture the interplay of bird and industrial sounds as they naturally occurred. Apart from trimming and slight overall volume adjustment, no additional editing has been applied.
