The melodic calls of a nightingale are the focus of this unedited field recording from Berlin on a summer day. Faint blackbird calls and the distant noise of a construction site create subtle layers in the background, highlighting the coexistence of nature and city life. This recording can be used in films, documentaries, sound installations, games, school projects, podcasts, or projects exploring urban biodiversity.
Recorded with a Sony PCM-D100. All my field recordings from summer 2024 in Berlin capture the interplay of bird and industrial sounds as they naturally occurred. Apart from trimming and slight overall volume adjustment, no additional editing has been applied.
