Captured on a summer day in Berlin, this unedited field recording reveals the interplay of natural and industrial soundscapes. The alternating sounds of a nightingale and a great tit contrast with the background sounds of a construction site and city traffic, creating a layered urban-natural soundscape. This recording can be used in films, documentaries, sound art, games, school projects, podcasts, or explorations of urban biodiversity.
Recorded with a Sony PCM-D100. All my field recordings from summer 2024 in Berlin capture the interplay of bird and industrial sounds as they naturally occurred. Apart from trimming and slight overall volume adjustment, no additional editing has been applied.
