Door_squeaks.wav

The source of the sound originates in an apartment. I recorded the creaking noise of the front door with a zoom H4N .
I didn't change effect as I wanted it to be used naturally as background noise and give special atmosphere, like in Alfred Hitchcock movies.
I remarked this was a very clear, resourceful sound when going out from home: I heard it and suddenly thought that would be a good sound for the Freesounders's community.
