Little Leap Forward

This is one 'clonk' on an anklung- an Indonesian bamboo percussion instrument. There is reverb ambience on this recording. This is one of the samples I made while putting together the music for Horse + Bamboo Theatre's show 'Little Leap Forward' in 2009.

I love this sound, and used it in the promo video for the Kickstarter for my comic The Children's Vampire Hunting Brigade. It's a coming of age Gothic adventure inspired by the real life Gorbals vampire incident that's been called, "Buffy meets S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders." You can check it out here:
