A kick created on WaveLab:
1. use WaveLab's sinewaves
2. pitch bend it in a way you mimic great kicks you like
3. add some noise especially at the beginning
4. you might want to add some background noise (snares, hi-hats, explosions, crickets, trains, cicadae etc. Some samples that seem wrong, work perfectly as a component of the attack, and then you fade them out either smoothly or at a high inclination/angle)
