Leicester Soundmap project

This is a binaural recording made using the Roland CS-10EM binaural mics. To get the full effect you should be listening to this recording through headphones.

I live on Upperton Road and sirens are one of main sonic features of the area as it is one of the main roads leading to Leicester Royal Infirmary.

I usually work in 44.1kHz to avoid intersampling errors if you ever need to resample, which usually happens at some point down the line. Besides, the difference between 44.1kHz-48kHz is negligible, it equates to 1.5 semitones. So there isn't a huge jump in quality really.
If you were talking about 88.2/96kHz then that would be a different story, the problem is the response of the mics on my recorder don't even go above 20kHz. So I think 44.1kHz should do the job nicely.
24/44.1 is the quality I try to stick with for all of my work.

tks! but, why 24 bits and 44.1Hz?? 24/48 is better!
