NoiserDrones

I recently discovered the freeware Noiser 1.0 programme (thanks to Freesound user Hello_Flowers). Noiser 1.0 uses non-linear equations to (randomly) twist and turn the samples you feed it with. The results are often interesting. I took two of my sample packs (‘Hits’ at http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/packsViewSingle.php?id=1706; and ‘Drones’ at http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/packsViewSingle.php?id=1555) to create the samples in this pack. They turned out to drone-like. Since Noiser 1.0 operates at random, I let it record for 20 minutes and then I cut the most interesting parts and uploaded it to Freesound. In theory, the possibilities are endless and I could go on and create a thousand samples. But instead I would like to encourage you to experiment with this programme, perhaps even with this sample pack. And don’t forget to upload them to Freesound! The programme can be found at: http://www.ixi-software.net/content/body_software_noiser.html
