Excerpt from an extended field recording. This is a water taxi speedboat with turbine engines speeding on the river Nieuwe Maas were it runs through the city of Rotterdam. Sound of waves against the quayside. The high frequencies are the strong wind blowing through the trees. The sound of the city is in the background (traffic etc.). Recorded on May 1st, 2011. Sony PCM-D50. Unedited.
