The spring is clearly in the air now. The birds are welcoming the warm sun again, and the wind is transporting the higher temperatures around now. This time around, i was lucky to get a recording without voices and human noise pollution. When i arrived, i noticed about 20 - 30 people, who would prove to be ornithologists all together. Huge binoculars and tripods were carried around, and they even threw a little party, something like a mile away. The spring has truly arrived now.

The wind was rather too much today, but the birds seemed to think, that they could sing it all away. My guess is, that temperatures were about 13 degrees Celsius, so not bad at all.

The shots you hear, was an ongoing event throughout the whole day, sadly, so i couldn't really record anything without getting some of them. Annoying, but that's how it is.

Recorded with two shure wl-183 mics plugged into an olympus ls-100 recorder.

Thank you very much for providing this sound.
I have used it as part of a collage in a piece called "The Answer to Question 33" which is listenable and downloadable on SoundCloud here: https://soundcloud.com/ivodne-galatea/the-answer-to-question-33

I love this recording SO much!! It perfectly captures the atmosphere you describe. I like to play nature soundscapes while I study, but often they're either so monotonous I get sleepy or they have all kinds of sudden spikes in sound that startle me from thinking. This has all that cheerful wakefulness of Spring and makes me feel like I'm sitting there with you.
