An accidental recording of the crowd before a live performance in the sense that I only intended to record music, but the pickup of the crowd was so good I've decided to upload it here.
It was recorded with the two condenser overhead mics of the drumset through a MOTU 8pre connected optically to a MOTU 828x. It stepped through some compression (since it wasn't loud enough only gain was added) and some light EQ and then routed through the analog tele out to a Roland Edirol recording at 44.1 khz and 16-bits.
The file was then converted to wave for editing and gain added for easier usage.
Enjoy!
