The Southern Leopard Frog, Lithobates (Rana) sphenocephalus, is one of the most common frogs found across the southeastern US and can be found primarily by fresh or brackish waterbodies. Southern Leopard Frog's main diet is comprised of insects and small crawfish. This frog can be heard most often late at night. Pig frogs and Green Tree Frogs can be occasionally heard also in the audio Sony PCM recorder, overnight recording with LOM MikroUsi and windbubbles.
