I used a combination of foley sounds (not available for separate download) and processed them with pitch-shifting plugins and EQ.
The sounds include a lot of scratching on multiple surfaces using different objects. The low-synth sound that pans around was actually captured by placing the microphone close to a lamp. I also captured my voice and breaths in unique and creepy ways. All the recordings were made using a SM57 microphone. Get creative! Hope this helps.
