I'm releasing a debut album of a new metal band from the Netherlands soon.

I'd like to use this sound on one of the more melodic tracks but I'm quite sure that would fall under commercial use, even though making music will probably only cost me money, at least for a couple of years.

May I have your permission to use it this way? You'll of course be credited appropriately.
