I was animating a giant machine where the components were supposedly bearing up to 72,000 lbs of force. The acceleration, and hence the visible motion, was miniscule, so the sound of the components straining was critical.

I slowed this sound WAY down for one of the mix layers, and the result was perfect! Thanks a lot.
