Early morning. Resident sleeping peacefully. Disturbed by hammering on the front door. Ghost hitting door with pistol butt. Looking for her unfaithful husband. Different speeds of knocking so users can set pace by selecting individual knocks. Recorded with an H4n plus external mic. An antique pistol butt knocked against a piece of wood on the floor next to a door. Knocking directly on the door produced spurious additions - like the vibrations of the lock. A small amount of reverb added when processed with Sound Forge.
