I strongly recommend that you fill you fill out the file attributes of your sounds (typically under "properties -> details" when you right-click an audio file) if you are very insistent on keeping them out of the public domain. It's not a replacement for giving credit, of course, but it makes it much easier to see the source for it at a glance.
Since I'm taking the time to leave a comment, I will be using this sound for a short visual novel project that I'm working on.
