This sound is part of the pack Lukes Matchbox Sounds
Opening of a small matchbox, grabbing a match and lighting it. I had to strike the surface twice, the match gets lit with the second strike. It gets blown out at the end. After striking the phosphorus surface, the noise you hear is actually caused by the flame and burning wood and escaping gases on the match!
Recorded with Sennheiser ME 64 on Focusrite Scarlett.
