Horror-Suspense Drone Texture

Horror SFX

An ambient drone texture I created that originally was slated to appear in an Indie Horror game developed by a friend, the game was shelved permanently before it ever got off the ground.

This is a simple 3 layer drone. The first two are synth layers (Bass and Hi-Freq modulation).
The final layer is a prepared banjo being bowed then put through granular synthesis to add interest and movement.

This sound is perfect for adding suspense, throwing it in tense exploration sections of a game or using it as a tension builder for film applications.

This is very nice and I hope to be able to use it in an indie game project I am working on. I will credit and link you if and when I use this. Thank you for this awesome sound :)
