I recorded this with a Shure Beta 57 inside my house with the window open. I have a metallic window frame, which is very audible. This could be used for rain scenes where the rain hits something metallic like a window, garage door, metal roof etc. The mic is positioned fairly close to the window so the raindrops sound quite close as well.
