Long recording of a Jacob's Ladder constructed by a friend of mine. He is blowing the arc downwards towards the base of the ladder, causing it to make a crackling noise.

This was taken from the audio track of a video shoot. Recorded with the internal microphone of a Sony DCR-TRV8 Handycam.

Still frame from the video, showing a close-up of the base:

exactly what I needed, the talking didn't bother me as I was able to eq and cut around those parts and still use it, nice job Halleck!

This sound was used in the fandub of Book 1 of the webcomic Archipelago. The fandub may be found here: https://soundcloud.com/cuttlefish3011/book-1-supercut. The comic may be read here: http://thearchipelago.smackjeeves.com/comics/1891878/book-1-page-1/. Thank you for the use of your sound!

I'm sick of people complaining about this sound. As I mention in the description, this is left over from a video shoot. Audio was not the focus here. I uploaded this anyway since I thought it might be useful to some, and I think some of the 1000+ people who downloaded it would agree. If you like it, edit around it or use one of the edited one-shots I provide in this pack. If you don't like it, don't use it. I'm sure you can find a replacement on sound dogs or something. But please don't bitch about something that I am providing for free.

Plz don't talk laugh or breath through your recordings, its really amateur. All your samples have it and it annoys me hugely, It are exactly the sounds I'm looking for but I need the whole length without the talking....
