A recording of wind whipping by. (WARNING: Loud!) It was made by putting the microphone close to a car window as it was driving. It sounds rather like a strong wind storm or hurricane. :-) Taken with a black Sony IC digital voice recorder.
Edit: Apologies for the fade-out. Not only did I use this sound from my brother, but I was young and didn't know that a fade-out is just annoying and doesn't help anyone.
