ericendres was looking for a car alarm "chirp".
I didn't have one handy - so I made one with a 2.2KHz sine wav and a 1KHz sine wav. I applied a percussive envelope to both and mixed them. Then I took the pitch way up and down in the first milisecond to approximate the sound of the 'chirp' and eased it up slightly before fading it out. Finally added a slight re-verb.
