This is the sound of a 3-ship formation consisting of a Messerschmitt Bf-109E-3 with a Daimler-Benz DB-601 flying lead and pulling away in a missing-man formation with a Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vc with a Rolls-Royce Merlin and Spitfire Mk. IXe with a Packard Merlin flying on the right and left wing positions, respectively. The lovely high pitch whine is from the Bf-109.
