A high-quality recording of a quiet day inside of the St. Ursen Cathedral in Solothurn, Switzerland. In the large room of this church, you can hear the steps of tourists, visiting this place. There is a long hall for every sound.
At the end of the recording, you hear my steps, me leaving the cathedral, including the transition from the inside soundscape to the outside.
The sound was recorded in 24bit on a professional Zoom recorder with the XYH-5 stereo microphone. For postprocessing, only unwanted noises were cut from the recording and the overall sound level was raised.
