This is an filtered recording of heavy rain on a roof and on a window. You can hear how the rain hits the roof and window with large raindrops. There is also some wind which varies the intensity of the rain drumming against the roof and wall. There some cracking of wood (once) in the background.
The sound is processed with a compressor and limiter and with a filter which is reducing the recoding to the heavy rain drops.
