This is an recording of heavy rain on a roof and on a window. You can hear how the rain hits the roof and window with large raindrops. There is also some wind which varies the intensity of the rain drumming against the roof and wall. In the very background there is the noise of a car (almost impossible to hear), and some cracking of wood (once).
The sound is just slightly processed with a compressor and limiter.
