This is a binaural recording of a Fourth of July fireworks display in a suburb just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I got about as close as one can be with such a sensitive pair of microphones (Clippy EM-272 stereo matched pair) and did my best to capture what this sounded like in person! I feel like this does a good job of capturing the "oomph" of the fireworks. You can really hear the power behind each bang, especially if you listen on headphones.
Enjoy!
Gear: Clippy EM-272 (XLR) matched pair mounted on K&M stereo bar, Zoom H4n recorder, aluminum tripod
