I compose what can be loosely called "progressive folk" music. In most of my pieces, I use synthesizers built with snippets of field recordings as noise samples or wavetables. I also construct sound effects by stitching together multiple field samples, e.g., "Constructed Bulldozer" built from sounds of a recycling truck.
