Ambient recording of insects at night in Arrow Rock, Missouri, USA. Recorded July 2, 2012 using a Sony PCM-D50 recorder with built-in stereo mics. Original 96k x 24b wav stereo. The insects are very loud through the night. The taller the trees, the thicker they seem to cluster. This was taken near a young, low tree in a residential yard.
