Long Key Natural Area is one of the largest natural areas that has been conserved by Broward County Parks and Recreation. The elevated oak hammock used to be a part of the Everglade marsh islands but has been separately geologically over many centuries. This is a short trail that leads visitors through a beautiful oak hammock.
This is a "sense of place" recording, focusing on the ambient sounds on-location.
