Excerpt 1 of 2 from a microcassette I found in an old answering machine on 01/02/2026.
I don't know about you but I can't understand half the words coming out of these geezers' mouths. Something about bringing over a tire jack? All while sipping coffee over some country music in the background. This might be the only known recording of an extremely rare sub-dialect of Midwestern American English... or it's just two guys slurring their words.
"...alright, I gotta get coffee beans so give me..."
"...yeah, I gotta finish this cup, then I'm gonna come..."
