Field-recording

Varanasi (or as we colloquially call it Benares) is a very noisy temple town in northern India. However, some of the sounds add character to the city too. This is the sound of evening prayer bells being rung in a temple near one of its most famous Ghats called Dasaswamedh Ghat. Recorded at highest resolution with Edirol R09HR and its internal stereo microphone.
