A pleasant style of drum'n'bass/jungle - circa 1990's style - reworking the EARTH WIND AND FIRE classic: 'SEPTEMBER'.
Maximum play, maximum boost, myriad big-ups.
Created by deploying Audacity and LMMS DAWs - exporting WAV from one to the other and saving MIDI files throughout the production process, during two good days of creativity.
The core of the track is a processed sample of a break from James Brown's 'Cold Sweat' track, which was pitched-up to 175BPM.
Instruments are all contained within the LMMS DAW and the lower frequencies within the track are an Organ synth and a Sine synth, both in the 3rd and 2nd octaves.
The vocals are treated with a High Pass Filter and there is a ghostly Breath Effect - which was spread across the MIDI controller and played into the composition.
