A late afternoon thunderstorm recorded by my condo's deck. The audio starts off quiet with a few chirping birds, light drizzle, and thunder rumbles. Things begin to intensify at the #7:22 mark with some loud thunder. A "ground zero jump scare" thunder blast hits at the #10:07 mark. The rain starts at the #11:00 minute mark. At the #12:00 minute mark the rain intensifies and it gets very windy. Thunder is still heard but it's not as loud as that "jump scare" blast. My wind chimes can be heard at times but their sound is a bit muted from being waterlogged.
The recording could have been longer but I had to stop. Wind driven rain was coming into the condo unit! Close the screen door and towel dry the affected carpet.
This was recorded with my usual Zoom H6 Essential.
