A rainy Christmas Tree Lightup ceremony on the Village Green in Limekilns, from under an umbrella.
Countdown to lighting up the Christmas Tree, with a cheer from the small crowd gathered there.
Heavy rain falling on my umbrella throughout.
The outdoor carol singing was cancelled due to the wet weather.

Hi Kevin.
Yeah, it was a real washout.
There was meant to be carol singing around the tree, but that was called off because of the rain.
After the lights went on everything just moved into the pub.
But it was a nice experience all the same with the few people who showed up. There was mulled wine, and I believe a bit of cash was raised for charity.

Oh, what a pitty that it was raining on such a special day...
