Had a listen to one of the older sounds I made, and decided to have some more fun with a filter I discovered recently. This is variation four out of 4. I decided to create 4 variations of this as well, each one is pretty much the same except for the synths I switched around. I also decided to remove the reverb and delay this time around. Enjoy.

Three synths from Sawer make up the main horn baseline, the synths are called FG Saint Peters, FG Dusty Woofer and FG Moog Solo. I run all of these through a Distructor effect coupled with a Multiband Delay effect that uses the Spectralay (morph) preset.
For the introductory sound i use a Sawer synth called MC Square Head, filtered much the same way as the Three synths above.
I've found that the Multiband Delay using the Spectralay preset is what gives the sound the "crunchyness"
Hope it helps.
