That's a lovely recording. Do you happen to know what specific woodpecker this was? Or was it even 2 birds? I'm fascinated by the rate of drumming different woodpeckers use. Bursts 1, 3, and 4 here are at about 18.5 Hz, but burst 2 shows 20.5 Hz, and this burst is also a bit quieter, and has a different tonal quality. My own recording of a greater spotted woodpecker (Dendrocopos major) showed a rate of 17 Hz. I'll analyse your other woodpecker recordings later.
