A friend of mine spent his childhood in a seaside village which has a pebble beach, he has lived inland for years now. I asked him one day what sounds he missed most from living at the seaside, his reply was - "Waking up early in the morning and hearing the waves had changed overnight to a swell, distant Oystercatchers and Curlew calls coming and going in the wind. Time to get up and beachcomb before anyone else gets there, good pickings after a swell."
This is the file I sent him. Unfortunately I didn't keep a WAV for some reason.
