A recording made with a contact mic pressed to a tree. It is reminiscent of a heartbeat. It was made on a rainy afternoon in July at Royal Park in Melbourne. The recording is mostly low frequencies. I have used EQ, filters and pitch shifting so you can hear it on headphones, but I recommend listening on speakers for the full effect. The contact mic was plugged into a Zoom H5 portable recorder.
