This recording was taken from the balcony of an apartment in Johor Bahru Malaysia on September 30th 2022 at about 1:30pm. It was monsoon season but not raining and the weather was hazy and muggy. The recording features the drone of a busy city punctuated by a whippersnipper, a building site, birds, a light aeroplane and car horns. At around the 4:30 mark there's two loud motorcycles that race each other and echo around the city in a most glorious way.
The recording was made with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a Zoom H5 portable recorder.
